A couple weeks ago I felt the Lord telling me to pray for Kanye West and Justin Beiber to fulfill their God giving destinies.
I began to pray for hem with my morning prayers. This past weekend we had a men’s retreat. Then on Sunday Kanye was at Lakewood church.
Then on Monday, of this week I had a dream. In the dream I was in a large old house reminded me like a Victorian-style home but one wing or large long bedroom was more like a barracks. In the room were bunk beds with men on them. The bunks were three high, not 2. I was standing in an aisle between to rows of bunks.
To my left was Mike Bickle to my right was Lou Engle and I knew it was my turn to pray. There was a door before Lou Engle and I felt we were going to walk through it when we finished praying.
Then I began to pray for Kanye West, Justin Beiber, Selena Gomez, Arianna Grande and others in pop culture. I prayed for God to protect them from the evil one and to give them favor. I prayed that they would fulfill their God-given destinies. I prayed that no weapon formed against them would prosper. That they would be blessed and that Jesus would be exalted through them. Then I woke up. I shared some of the dream with Martha and a friend.
Some may say this is just coincidence but a couple days later I think Wednesday, I saw in the news that Billboard magazine named one of Kanye’s darkest albums as the best album of the last decade. To me, this is blatant spiritual warfare. The enemy is trying to focus people on the worst of Kanye’s past to distract him declare Jesus as King.
Please join me in praying for Kanye West and others who are taking a stand for Christ. Let Jesus be exalted. #JesusIsKing
